The Whetstone Junior Snooker Academy offers high-quality junior coaching in a safe, supportive club environment, helping young players learn, enjoy, and progress in the game of snooker.
The academy is run by WPBSA-qualified resident coaches Don Watson and Andrew Barrett, with Don Watson leading the programme as Head Coach. Sessions are suitable for all abilities, from complete beginners to advanced juniors, with coaching that focuses on strong fundamentals, confidence, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Beginner – Learn the basics: technique, rules, and etiquette
Development – Improve skills, match play, and consistency
Competitive – EPSB tournaments and tactical awareness
Performance – Advanced coaching for talented, committed juniors
